ISTE Standards for Coaches
Meeting Standard 4.3 Collaborator
Collaboration between education professionals is the key to improving learning and maintaining strong educational systems. ISTE standard 4.3 states that coaches establish and maintain relationships with educators to improve both instructional practice and outcomes for learners. In a digital age, these relationships take on a different appearance than they did in the past. Professional Learning Communities may include online gatherings of educators and in-person ones, synchronous and asynchronous discussions, and training that includes both content-based skills and technology skills.
