ISTE STANDARDS FOR COACHES
The overlap between teaching teens and teaching adults is never more apparent than in the area of active learning. I wrote about the importance of active learning in professional development for adults, and highlighted how active learning is a best practice for students and educators alike but will look different for each group.
Feedback is a second part of ISTE 4.5b, and is one of the “dos” I emphasize in a post focused on the value of in-house experts for professional development. Ongoing, meaningful feedback is an important part of effective professional development.
